Reframing our reflection focused on changing our thoughts on negative body image and shaming. Our speakers were a therapist, fitness instructor, nutritionist, nurse, and personal experience mother who addressed body image and how it has impacted their lives and others in the community.
"Reconnecting with Yourself" focuses on rediscovering inner balance during times of imbalance. The speakers a wellness coach and social worker aimed to reassure individuals that it's normal to experience such feelings.
We believe that self-love is finding things that makes you happy. On this day, we learned from a travel agent, massage therapist, yoga instructor and Wellness Coach on what it looks like to incorporate self-care and self-love.
